What is an ANSO movement?

The autonight silence option will make the clock not chime or strike from 10pm to 7am each evening. Some clock dial faces have this as a lever to turn this feature on or off, others do not. Even though the dial may not have this slot, it is able to use an ANSO movement.

ANSO = auto night shut off.

Set and forget the ANSO behind the clock dial, or use a brass rod to drop down behind the dial to turn the ANSO on or off.
